#7 - Numbers On Napkins

Fans have been on the edge of the seats, waiting to see what happens next with the Phoenix punk rock band, Numbers On Napkins, ever since the band announced that they would be changing labels in 2007. The band has spent the past year recording material for a new full length album, although rumors regarding exactly what label the album will be released on seem to change on a regular basis.

NON has been in negotiations with both independent and national record labels, and stated that they plan to release their new CD within the next year. The band chose Joe Queer (Lead vocalist and guitarist for the long time pop punk band, The Queers) to produce the album, and are currently recording at Arcane Digital Recording in Chandler, with head engineer, Ryan Butler.

NON is known for putting on one hell of a stage show, and the band has grown musically over the past few years. If you haven’t been fortunate enough to see the band live, or at least hear one of their albums, perhaps 2009 is the year to look into NON. The band generated strong momentum from their start in 2003, and they don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon!
