The VH1 Save the Music Foundation manages to touch our hearts as musicians.
It is a shame that many future musicians that have the talent, may never
receive the opportunity to develop their skills. Unfortunately, one of the first
things to go with budget cuts to schools is their music programs.

It is our hope that with the support of organizations like Save the Music, classes will continue to exist in schools,
and talented musicians will have the instruments they need to have a musical life. We ask that anyone who can
support the cause, please donate. Music is the most important thing in our lives. It helps us to release our
emotions. It helps us to relax. It is our hobby. It is our life. Without music, our lives would feel incomplete.
We cannot imagine living a life without the opportunity to play music as a child. To us, it is cruel. We hope
others can realize the importance of music in schools, and do their part to ensure its existence.

affiliation with, but separately from, VH1 the cable music channel.
The VH1 Save The Music Foundation provides a unique service in its efforts to improve the current state of
education. The Foundation works directly to support only music education programs and does not provide any
money to the school or school district. Instead, The Foundation provides complete band, string, keyboard, or
guitar programs to benefiting schools. It is our belief that by providing instruments and not funding, our
contribution will be used for its intended purpose: the restoration of public school music programs.
