Whether you are a national touring act, or a local band just starting off, Laundromat Productions can help you with the
services you need.  We have put on shows featuring a wide variety of bands including The Offspring, Authority Zero,
Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Bayside, Rock Kills Kid, Brazil, Junction 18, Still Life, Unsung Zeros, Mandingo, The
Generiks, and over 1,000 other bands throughout over a decade of servicing Arizona.  In addition, we have worked
along side various sponsors that help with our shows including Budweiser, 103.9FM "The Edge", Fender Guitars,
Guitar Center, SOBE Energy Drink, Zia Records, AZPunk.com, Lithium Clothing Company, Bad Stain Records, The
Arizona Roller Derby, Stinkweeds, Suburban Underground, Eastside Records, Double Down Clothing Company,
Nightlife Magazine, Ace Tattoo, The College Times, Tempe12.com, Monsoon Radio, Area 69, CAM Magazine,
Decision Clothing, Dirty Records, Monkey Mambo,   Smokin' Lou's Smoke Shops, 1060AM "The Blaze", and
dozens more!  We have put together small, personable shows, and huge events like our annual AZ Ska Punk Awards
Ceremony.  The Ska Punk Awards annually cater to a crown of hundreds, with 20 bands performing over an eight
hour period.  We book local celebrities to give away the awards, and find sponsors to help promote the event.  No
matter what type of event you are looking for, we can make it happen.  If we can't, we work with over a dozen other
promoters that can.
Our booking agency features two separate services.  Our first service is booking your band to perform at one of the
events we put together.  The second is putting your act onto a show being put together by one of our business partners.
Either service will help your band, whether you are on the road or reside in Arizona.
Our fees are fair and we always attempt to get your band the money you deserve.  There are many factors that
determine how we pay bands performing shows for events that we put on.  National touring acts will usually make
considerably more money than lesser known local acts, unless your band has a strong fan base.  We use many different
ways to decide the pay of our acts.  Many large touring acts receive guarantees.  Our payment system is a bit tricky to
determine, but most of the bands we work with find them fair, and over 99% of the bands have been satisfied with our
services.
Most bands don't fully realize the cost it takes to put on a concert.  For instance, if your band only brings in 20 fans at
$7 per head, that cannot even pay the club rental in most cases.  In many circumstances, their are insurance fees, club
rental fees, fees to rents the security, sound engineering fees, among various others.  Of course there is also the cost to
create flyers, posters, take out online and radio ads, and promote the show.  We break things down very simple.  After
the overhead costs are paid, we take net profit from the show and spilt it up.  We use 60% to pay the bands.  So if 4
bands performed, each band receives 15% of the profits from the show.  We take 15% of the profits to put back into
Laundromat Productions, to pay for various costs such as employee salaries, website fees and gas for our cars.
Another 15% is given to the head promoter of the show.  The head Promoter is the individual that works directly with
your band, the venue, and the other bands at your show.  The 15% is for his time spent working to ensure your show is
a success.  The remaining 10% is given to the band, or bands at the show who went above and beyond their duties.  If
your band works hard and gets more fans at the show, we will award you with a special bonus as a way to say thanks
for the extra hard work.  In some cases, Laundromat Productions will work along side a large national act that requires
a large guarantee.  Sometimes bands will be asked to play for free, with their band pay simply being exposure to a
larger audience.  Once again, bands usually never complain about our services, but if you are requiring a guarantee of
any kind, please inform your Head Promoter to avoid a situation that could in any way upset you, or any member of
your band.
Occasionally, we cannot get you on a show we are having on the date you request.  In those cases, we can usually put
you on the bill with another promoter in Arizona.  If we cannot get you on one of our shows, we will be happy to put
you on a show with another promoter or company, at the small fee of 10%.  In other words, if your band performs for
another promoter and your pay is $100, your pay would be $90.
Your satisfaction and happiness is our main concern.  Most of our employees are in bands themselves, and we all
know that there is nothing more frustrating and disappointing than having a terrible show.  We will go to any lengths to
make your experience with us enjoyable and relaxing.  It's your night, and you deserve to relax and enjoy the special
occasion.  To have Laundromat Production book your band, contact Moe at: 602-570-3643.  Additional questions
